Once the pump cover is removed, the impeller becomes accessible. The impeller is secured with screws, spring washers, and a pressure plate. Carefully remove these components from top to bottom. Afterward, shake the assembly gently to release the impeller from its position.

3. Removing the Key Pin

The key pin plays a crucial role in securing the impeller to the shaft. After the impeller is removed, the key pin should be visible. Using a tool like a small pick, carefully remove the key pin to free the shaft.

4. Disassembling the Pump Body

The next step involves removing the pump body. First, locate and remove the four screws positioned in the middle of the pump body. Once the screws are out, use a rubber hammer to gently tap the pump body upward, dislodging it from its position.

5. Removing the Back Pulley

With the pump body removed, the back pulley becomes accessible. Use the Ramara tool to pull off the back pulley carefully. After removing the pulley, you can then remove the second key pin located behind it.

6. Taking Apart the Bearing Assembly

Next, proceed to remove the spacer, screw spring washer, and bearing press plate, each in succession from top to bottom. These components hold the rotor shaft in place and must be removed to free the shaft.

7. Extracting the Rotor Shaft Assembly

To remove the rotor shaft assembly, tap it with a rubber hammer from the back to the front. This should help loosen and eventually shake out the entire assembly.

8. Replacing the Bearings

If the bearings at both ends of the rotor shaft need replacement, use a bearing puller or a similar tool to remove them. Replace the old bearings with new ones, ensuring they are seated correctly on the shaft.
